AN EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO AMRITA HOSPITAL

An educational trip to Amrita Hospital was organized for medical students to enhance their practical knowledge and clinical exposure. Upon arrival, VMPIANs were welcomed by the hospital staff and given an overview of the hospital’s services and facilities. The students’ were taken on a guided tour through various departments including microbiology, pathology, radiology and clinical laboratories. VMPIANs observed the use of advanced diagnostic equipments such as CT and MRI scanners and gained insight into laboratory procedures and safety protocols. A highlight of the visit was the simulation lab, where students witnessed demonstrations using high-fidelity manikins for clinical training. The experience allowed students to connect their theoretical learning with real-world medical practices. The visit concluded with an interactive session where students could ask questions and clarify doubts. Overall, the trip was informative, inspiring and significantly contributed to the students’ understanding of hospital-based medical care.
