Annual Sports Meet

Vidya Mandir Public School celebrated its Annual Sports Meet 2019 on 20th December 2019 in the school playground for class XI. It commenced with a balloon raising ceremony after which the school principal Mr. Anand Gupta formally declared the sports meet open. It was followed by a March Past in which the class monitors, academic and sports achievers showcased a parade exhibiting discipline, fervor, excitement and exhilaration. After a few warm-up exercises, the track events and team sports began. The entire venue throbbed with the unmatched energy and excitement of children participating in events like Hurdle Race, Book Balancing Race, Ring and Pole Race, Slow Cycling Race, Ball Balancing on Raquet Race as well as Basket Ball and Volley Ball. The highlight of the event was Tug of war in which the contestants were cheered loudly & excitedly. The sports meet concluded with Prize Distribution Ceremony in which the winners of the different races & competitions were awarded with medals and certificates.
