The New Normal’

Despite the unprecedented crisis of COVID-19 which shook the entire world, the community of educators still rose to the situation. At Vidya Mandir, we ensured that the studies of our children were not hindered. It was not easy for either the children or the teachers to embrace the sudden rush of digitalisation but our dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students very quickly adapted to it. Even now, our teachers continue to relentlessly provide the young and eager learners an extensive virtual platform so that the journey of learning can continue unhindered. The school is immensely proud of its entire community of teachers who have gone even beyond the call of duty to ensure non-stop learning of children.

Not only academics, but equal emphasis is laid on co-curricular activities as well even in online mode. We ensure that online learning using the ZOOM platform is as interesting, riveting and informational as real classroom learning is. Our teachers are constantly present for the support of the students and help them overcome all challenges and impediments. Along with content delivery, our online classes also focus on student engagement and fostering the joy of learning. For the convenience of the students and better understanding, a hybrid approach is followed by the school in which not only are online classes run, but students are also provided detailed notes in the form of PDF so that they can get a better grasp of the subject matter. All questions and confusions of the students are clarified in discussions, seminars and special sessions organised by our teachers online. Several activities like Online Quiz, Oratory, Debate, Power Point Presentation, Worksheets, Role Plays etc. are conducted from time to time to keep the children involved and excited.

Since this new digital world also signals the beginning of an entirely new virtual era, so, we, at Vidya Mandir, are trying our best to make online learning as engaging and effective as possible and are committed to truly transforming the teaching learning experience in order to provide students the ability to think, learn, evolve and unleash their true potential.
